英语演讲稿 Computers（电脑）

Dear teachers and schoolmates, my name is Carl, today I am going to talk about Computers.

Computers are machines with which people are very familiar. Why do many people like to use computers？There are many reasons. First，computers can help you know more and more knowledge. Secondly， computers are friends of human beings , really wisdom ones. Whenever you need help you can turn to these friends.

Thirdly, with the development of the World Wide Web, computers can help you keep in touch with your relatives and friends. When my father went to the USA for business, we missed each other very badly. My helpful friend, computer, made it possible for my father and I to talk face to face.

However, as it\’s known to all, a coin has two sides. Computers also have some shortages. Some students are addicted to computer games and spend too much time playing it. Therefore, they are not able to keep path with the academic progress. Besides, sitting all day long in front of the monitor is bad for our health.【暖雀网www.nuanque.com】
